About the Role…
As a PR Account Manager you’ll be at the forefront of developing and delivering strategic media campaigns that elevate client visibility and reputation. From crafting compelling press releases to producing thought leadership content, you’ll shape stories that cut through the noise and connect with the right audiences across multiple channels.
This is a fast-moving role where you’ll need to keep your finger on the pulse of the media landscape spotting opportunities, responding to breaking news, and ensuring clients are part of the conversation.
Collaboration is key. Working alongside talented specialists in design, digital, and content, you’ll lead on day-to-day account management, build strong client relationships, and drive impactful media outreach that results in standout coverage.
You’ll also take a proactive approach to building and nurturing journalist relationships, securing placements in national, regional, and trade publications. By aligning PR activity with wider marketing strategies, you’ll help clients maintain a consistent, influential presence in their sectors keeping them relevant, visible, and ahead of the curve.
About you…
To be considered for this PR Account Manager role you’ll need at least three years’ experience in a fast-paced PR setting, ideally agency-side where you’ve honed your ability to craft standout stories and secure meaningful coverage. You’ll have excellent writing skills, a strong editorial mindset, and an instinct for spotting news angles that resonate with different audiences. A solid understanding of the UK media landscape from national and regional press to trade titles and digital platforms is essential, as is the confidence to pitch, present, and influence effectively.
You’ll be collaborative by nature, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to keep multiple projects moving without sacrificing quality. Known for your proactive approach, you’re quick to identify opportunities and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table. Experience in media monitoring, awareness of digital and social trends, and a willingness to share knowledge and help shape team thinking will set you apart.
