About the Agency…

This agency is home to PR experts who truly understand the craft. With expertise spanning traditional, digital, and content PR, they work with a diverse range of clients across property, healthcare, leisure, and FMCG sectors. Their core focus is maintaining brand authenticity, and they’re committed to quality over quantity—only expanding their team when it aligns with their ability to deliver exceptional work.

What sets this agency apart is its relatively young presence in the market, making it one of the most innovative and forward-thinking PR agencies around. As a result, they’re already making waves and becoming a formidable competitor in the industry.

About the Role…

As the PR Account Director, you'll be the key driver behind the PR and communications strategy, leading the charge to shape and execute impactful campaigns. Day to day you’ll be the final set of eyes on every piece of work that leaves the agency, ensuring it meets the highest standards before going out on behalf of clients. As such, a strong background in content creation, copywriting, and proofreading is essential. Your role will be highly strategic, overseeing the team’s projects and ensuring they stay on track and deliver on time. However, you’ll also need to lead by example, stepping in to support the activation process when necessary.

Exceptional communication will be key in your day-to-day, as you’ll be providing constructive feedback to junior team members and the senior leadership team alike, helping to drive continuous improvement across the board.

You'll work closely with the growth team to craft compelling stories that align with both business and marketing goals. Your role is pivotal in bringing clients’ propositions to life, ensuring the messaging resonates powerfully. From managing media lists to strategising effective PR campaigns, you'll leave a lasting impression, all while boosting personal brand strategies for key stakeholders. Through data analysis, you'll continuously optimize the PR approach to maximize results and impact.

About you…

To be considered for this PR Account Director role, we’re looking for 5-7 years of solid PR experience. Someone already in a Senior Account Manager role ready to take on more responsibility, or perhaps already in a Team Lead or Account Director position seeking a new challenge. You’ve got a strong grasp of SEO and understand how it integrates with Digital PR to drive results. As a natural leader, you’ll inspire and guide the team to work collaboratively across departments.

You’re ready for a fresh opportunity—whether you come from a media agency, an integrated agency with daily cross-team collaboration, or a more specialised agency or in-house role where something just didn’t feel quite right. You’re driven by the ambition to step into a Head of or Director role in the near future, with a genuine passion for the work you do and a strong desire to inspire and lead your team to greater heights.
