ThePlaceToBe are excited to be working with a well known retailer, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of PR & Social to join their established team in Manchester, on a hybrid basis. This role is a 12 month FTC Contract.
About the role...
As Head of PR & Social, you'll be owning and developing the strategy across PR, partnerships, influencers & creators, events and social, building a major buzz, moments of conversation, increasing reach and relevance for a major retailer.
You'll be joining a lovely wider team of experts who work collaboratively together and are really keen to foster a culture that supports individuals in their own career as well as benefiting the brand.
The nitty gritty...
- Oversee the consumer PR strategy- raising the profile of the brand, increasing relevance and impactful conversation.
- You will identify key opportunities that can generate standout earned media coverage.
- Develop and deliver the partnership strategy- identifying brand, commercial and cultural collaborations that will increase reach and relevance.
- Leading creator partnership campaigns from idea right through to activation.
- Set the strategic direction for Debenhams across our social channels.
- Build a reactive, ahead-of-the-curve social presence that feels current, engaging and culturally connected.
- Bring together relevant media, influencers, customers, partners and talent around key brand moments.
What we're looking for...
To be considered for this Head of PR and Social role, you'll need strong either agency or sizeable brand experience, as a Senior PR Account Director or Head of PR with broader experience, of events, influencer and social.
Please note this role is a 12 month FTC.
