ThePlaceToBe are growing and we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team in Leeds. This is a brand new role created to support the continued growth of our client base across marketing, digital, and creative. It’s all about delivery, organisation, and candidate experience - helping us keep everything running smoothly while we continue to scale.
About the role…
You’ll sit within our Client Services team and play a key role in supporting both smaller client accounts and larger, high-volume hiring projects. Working closely with our consultants, you’ll help manage the end-to-end recruitment process - making sure candidates are looked after, processes stay on track, and clients get a brilliant, seamless experience every time. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be across multiple live roles at once, keeping everything organised and moving.
What you’ll be doing…
- Managing multiple live roles across marketing, digital, and creative
- Supporting on smaller client accounts and high-volume hiring projects
- Writing and posting job adverts
- Registering, qualifying, and managing candidates
- Conducting candidate searches, building talent pipelines and matching candidates to live roles
- Coordinating interviews, feedback, and offers
- Keeping CRM systems fully updated and organised
- Delivering a great candidate experience from start to finish
About you…
You’re someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves keeping things organised, and enjoys working with people day in, day out. You might already have some recruitment experience, or come from an Account Management, Account Coordination or resourcing background - what matters most is your ability to stay on top of detail, manage volume, and keep things moving.

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills with confidence engaging candidates
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Comfortable with admin, coordination, and CRM systems, keeping everything accurate and up to date
- Team player who enjoys supporting others, with an interest in marketing, digital, and creative (experience in recruitment, resourcing or admin is ideal)
