ThePlaceToBe are partnering with a rapidly growing experiential agency in Leeds, known for delivering standout live events and brand activations for major retail and lifestyle brands. As the agency continues to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Events & Activations Manager who thrives on ownership, delivery, and bringing ambitious ideas to life.

About the role… This is a project led role where you’ll be trusted to take a brief and run with it working closely with client services and creative teams, leading delivery with the support of junior team members, and ensuring projects are executed on brief, on budget, and on time. You’ll manage a broad mix of work, from six-figure live events and activations through to print led campaigns and innovative technical builds.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Owning projects end to end, from briefing and planning through to delivery
  • Managing timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure seamless execution
  • Leading the delivery of large-scale events, activations, and experiential builds
  • Working closely with creatives and client services to turn ideas into deliverable solutions
  • Managing suppliers, production partners, and freelancers
  • Delegating effectively and supporting junior team members to deliver against plan
  • Keeping calm under pressure and solving problems as they arise onsite

About you… You’re an experienced Events Project Manager, Activation Manager, or Project Manager with a strong background in experiential, live events, or brand activations. You’re confident taking ownership of complex projects and enjoy balancing creative ambition with practical delivery.

What we’re looking for…

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver on brief, on budget, and on time
  • Experience running large-scale events and activations, including high-value projects
  • Confidence translating skills across print production, experiential campaigns, and technical builds
  • Comfortable managing suppliers, production teams, and multiple stakeholders
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Someone who can be trusted to lead projects independently while mentoring junior team members
