ThePlaceToBe are proud to be partnering with a growing retail brand who are continuing to invest heavily into their ecommerce and digital offering. As part of their next phase of growth, they’re now looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to take ownership of onsite trading performance, customer journeys and CRM activity across their DTC channels.

About the role…

This is a commercially focused ecommerce role where you’ll be responsible for driving online performance, improving conversion and delivering a seamless customer experience across web, app and email channels.

What you’ll be doing day to day…

  • Owning onsite trading activity across the website and app, focusing on merchandising, UX, conversion and performance
  • Supporting campaign execution, launches and promotional activity in line with the wider trading calendar
  • Using data, analytics and testing to identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and revenue
  • Managing CRM and email activity, including lifecycle flows, customer retention and automated journeys
  • Working closely with internal teams and external partners to continuously optimise the digital customer experience

About you…

This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and enjoys balancing commercial trading with customer experience and retention. You’ll be data-driven, hands-on and confident working across multiple digital touchpoints.

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous ecommerce trading experience within a retail, fashion or consumer brand
  • Strong understanding of onsite merchandising, customer journeys and digital trading performance
  • Experience across CRM, email marketing and lifecycle activity
  • Knowledge of CRO, analytics and ecommerce reporting
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with marketing, creative and development teams
