About the role...
As a Business Development Manager, the focus of your role will be to take leadership of this agency’s new business pipeline, forging great relationships in a bid to win further projects.
What you’ll be doing day to day...
- Work closely with the agency founders to plan out the most efficient business development strategy
- Identifying and pursuing the right prospects, businesses that are ambitious, data-aware, and ready for a genuine partner
- Taking a lead upon end to end lead generation processes, from initial conversations to new business pitch delivery
- Partner with delivery teams to create pitch proposals and pricing plans
- Increase this agency’s market presence, from Social exposure to Networking event attendance
- Reporting weekly on pipeline health, activity, and progress against targets
About you...

What we're looking for...
- Strong experience within a sales / business development role - ideally from the marketing / data industry
- Proven track record of client development, lead generation and relationship building
- A genuine understanding of how marketing agency works
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand problems and find solutions
- A self-starter with the passion to work within a small independent business
- Experience using CRM / Sales tools and be able to suggest new processes and software
- You must be able to commute to Leeds City Centre, 2 days a week
