Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper (South London)
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our client on a part-time, self-employed basis. You will take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function while providing valuable support across the wider finance department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, taking ownership and adding real value to a business. Alongside the core bookkeeping responsibilities, you will play an important role in improving financial processes, strengthening controls and helping to drive greater efficiency and accuracy across the finance function .
Key Responsibilities:

Full bookkeeping duties

VAT return preparation and submission

Credit control
-
Inventory management
-
Bank reconciliations
-
Purchase and sales ledger management

Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end processes
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper

Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns

Excellent credit control skills

Ability to work independently while supporting the Financial Controller

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Location: London (onsite)
Commitment: 2 full days per week
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £22.50 per hour (Self-Employed)
