The role involves building a following of loyal customers, acting as a consultant rather than a clerk. This means establishing a rapport with customers to determine their needs and present the appropriate products.

Key responsibilities and duties:
  • Understand key company and personal KPI’s actively seeking to exceed or meet them.
  • Proactively build company and product knowledge to demonstrate understanding to the customer.
  • Monitor all details after closing a sale, including shipping, alterations (if applicable), and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously enhance sales techniques to drive sales.
  • Comply with all sales related policies and procedures.
  • Take ownership of your role and support the store team to achieve goals.
  • Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.
  • Undertake daily tasks as required by the store management team.
Customer Service:
  • Continuously strive to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Handle customer enquiries quickly and efficiently and escalate to management where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain client book ensuring that all new clients' information is captured correctly in the POS system.
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
Operations:
  • Keep selling floor and product neat, organised and stocked.
  • Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
  • Assist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies and all shipping/receiving related paperwork.
  • Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures.
  • Properly execute all relevant register functions.
  • Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance.
  • Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store management.
  • Help monitor store security through vigilant customer service and consistent application of store changing room procedures and tagging.
  • Adhere to all internal audit processes and procedures.
Key skills and experience:
  • Experience of working in a similar position for a premium or luxury brand.
  • Experience of developing customer rapport to drive sales.
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Proactive, able to motivate oneself to meet company expectations.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
