Theodo is an engineering & design consultancy with offices in Paris, London, New York, Casablanca and Cape Town. We build high-quality digital products for clients across industries, and we are increasingly working with enterprise organisations on complex, high-impact tech modernisation programmes - including AI-powered code modernisation. We run lean internally: we care about process, continuous improvement, and doing things properly.
The Opportunity
We're hiring an Associate Product Manager to take ownership of complex client projects and programmes end-to-end. You'll be the person clients trust to tell them hard truths, protect scope, and deliver - while the client principal focuses on account growth. This is a high-impact role at the heart of how we deliver, and a key part of how we're evolving our delivery model as we scale.
The role
- Negotiate and manage product scope to deliver maximum value on fixed-price and time/materials engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding product owner decisions on trade-offs and priorities
- Manage the flow of requirements from client to team, maintaining a healthy backlog and driving visual management practices
- Own the delivery plan; producing, maintaining, and communicating it throughout the engagement
- Run agile ceremonies and solve day-to-day delivery problems before they escalate
- Monitor effort, forecast accurately, and ensure delivery operates within contract terms
- Build long-term client relationships, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and owning RAID management
- Mentor junior delivery managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What We're Looking For
You're a seasoned delivery professional who knows when to push back and when to flex. You build trust quickly with senior stakeholders by proactively communicating on the delivery plan, relating it back to business needs and providing sound judgement. You spot the risks, challenge broken processes, and leave projects in better shape than you found them.
- Trusted by clients at C-suite and senior stakeholder level - able to have difficult conversations and maintain the relationship
- Trusted by on the ground delivery teams - able to have detailed conversations about technology and product with the experts on your team
- Preventative rather than reactive - you identify risk early and act before it becomes a problem
- Rigorous about delivery metrics and able to use them to justify commercial decisions
- Genuinely interested in lean delivery principles and willing to keep learning
- Humble and coachable - you take feedback and bring that same openness to your team
- A multiplier: you improve delivery maturity on every project you touch, and bring things back to the wider team
Required Skills & Experience
- Around 2-4 years of delivery management experience on complex digital or technology projects
- Proven track record managing both fixed-price and time/materials engagements
- Experience managing senior client stakeholders and steering committees
- Demonstrable examples of scope negotiation and risk management on large or high-stakes projects
- Experience running agile ceremonies and holding teams to a high standard of delivery
- Comfortable using delivery data to drive commercial decisions
What We Offer
- 25 Days annual leave
- Learning and Development support throughout your career at Theodo
- Private Health Insurance via Vitality
- 3 week work from anywhere policy
- Equipment budget for your tech set up
- Company pension
- Monthly Socials
