As we prepare for launch, Theobalds Health Club, part of Theobalds Hotel Estate in Goff's Oak, Cheshunt, is looking for motivated, passionate, professional & people focussed Health & Fitness Coaches to help shape exceptional member experience, both on a full time and part time basis. Theobalds Health Club is being developed as a premium, integrated health, performance and longevity destination. In addition to gym-based training, the club includes reformer Pilates, a cycle studio, padel courts, outdoor estate sessions, a spa garden and a growing suite of recovery and optimisation services. Health & Fitness Coaches play a key role in delivering our outstanding fitness services and guest experience, all within a supportive wellness community.

You will lead group exercise sessions of up to 10 people, coach members 1:1 through Personal Training, support sales and build a vibrant coaching community. Health & Fitness Coaches main duties include:

  • Delivering high quality group fitness classes across the Health Club; gym and studio
  • Working collaboratively with members to support their health, wellness and fitness goals
  • Membership sales and retention, including additional secondary product and services sales
  • Nurturing Corporate relationships, delivering Corporate Services
  • Supporting guests with use of equipment, including PT sessions
  • Liaising with colleagues, instructors, coaches and Hotel Managers
  • Presentation of all services and classes where qualified, within the club.
  • Maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the Health Club
  • Any other duties appropriate to the position in consultation with Senior/Duty Managers.

Key requirements of Health & Fitness Coaches:

  • CIMSPA recognised or equivalent Level 3 Personal Training
  • Experience delivering Group fitness classes to over 10 people in gym and studio space
  • Experience of working in high quality gym and fitness establishments
  • You will need to be approachable, well presented and confident.
  • Passionate about Health, Wellness and Longevity
  • Be able to provide a high standard of customer service and great communication skills.
  • Keen for continual personal development

Our Health & Fitness Coaches role include daytime, evening and weekend shifts, and may include bank holiday working, it is important applicants are available to work flexible shift patterns. Due to the location of the Health club within the Hotel Estate grounds you will require your own transport or live locally.
