Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic looking for your next step? Our client is growing and they’re on the lookout for a confident, experienced Technician to join their aftersales team. This role offers genuine progression with routes into Workshop Controller, Assistant Manager and Garage Manager positions.

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 OTE £50,000 - £60,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm (1 in 4) Saturday 8:30- 1pm

What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly):

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards
  • Working efficiently to manufacturer-set timings to maintain productivity
  • Completing accurate diagnostic reports and documenting work carried out
  • Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction stays front and centre
  • Supporting and mentoring other Technicians as required
  • Developing towards Assistant Manager responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a prestige dealership or similar environment
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent customer service standards
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of your output
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • High Voltage (EV/Hybrid) trained preferred
  • Motivated, target-driven, and adaptable within a busy workshop
