Our client — a successful automotive dealership in Oldbury — is looking for a qualified Automotive MOT Tester to join their established workshop team. Whether you’re currently working as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician with MOT, Automotive Technician, or Service Technician, this is a strong opportunity to work with a professional team, flexible shift patterns, and solid earning potential.
Salary: Up to £30,000 basic plus Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30-5pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am-2pm

What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly):
- Carrying out MOT testing in line with DVSA standards
- Completing basic mechanical repairs efficiently and within standard times
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and dealership quality standards
- Maintaining high attention to detail across all inspections and repairs
- Working productively to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Supporting the wider workshop team when required
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA / VOSA Smart Card
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
- Solid automotive background with a stable career history
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Flexible, team-focused approach in a busy workshop
- Full UK driving licence
