Theo are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive technology company that provides specialist systems used by motor dealerships across the UK and internationally. We are looking to speak with candidates currently working in dealership accounts roles who are looking for a fresh challenge and a career step away from the day-to-day finance function. This is a unique opportunity to use your dealership finance experience in a completely different way – helping other dealerships implement and learn a specialist automotive finance system. Full training will be provided. You do not need any experience in training or software implementation.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the implementation of a specialist automotive finance platform within dealerships
- Helping configure the system to align with each dealership’s accounting processes
- Delivering clear and practical training sessions to dealership finance teams
- Working with roles such as Accounts Clerks, Assistant Accountants and Financial Controllers
- Supporting dealerships through system go-live and transition from existing systems
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure dealerships get the best from the platform
- Working both remotely and visiting dealerships
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in motor trade / dealership accounts
- Understanding of dealership finance processes such as:
- Purchase ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Journals and accruals
- VAT returns
- Month-end procedures
- Management reporting
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in dealership accounts to move into a more varied and progressive position within the automotive technology sector. You’ll use your existing knowledge of dealership finance to help motor retailers across the UK improve their systems and processes, while developing new skills in training, systems implementation and consultancy.
