We're looking for a passionate and driven Technical Coordinator to join our Droitwich Dairy and play a key role in maintaining industry-leading food safety and quality standards. About the Role
As a Technical Coordinator, you will take ownership of key food safety and quality systems across the site, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and industry regulations. Working closely with operational teams, you'll support quality performance, lead audit activities, drive improvement initiatives and help embed a culture of quality throughout the business. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to deliver safe, high-quality products while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support for Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site quality performance
- Lead and support problem-solving activities, quality investigations and root cause analysis
- Develop quality awareness and capability across operational teams
- Support quality control activities within production operations
- Produce, analyse and maintain Quality Index reports and performance metrics
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audit activities, including customer and regulatory audits
- Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiencies and strengthen quality performance
- Deliver continuous improvement projects that support business objectives
- Champion best practice and support colleagues in achieving personal development and continuous improvement goals
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience using structured problem-solving tools, including A3 methodologies
- Knowledge of retailer codes of practice and customer standards
- Experience supporting and/or leading BRC audits
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- HACCP Level 3 qualification
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification
- Advanced Food Hygiene knowledge
- Understanding of microbiological principles and their application within food manufacturing
- Experience within the dairy industry would be highly advantageous
