Our client, a successful, fast-paced prestige main dealer in Birmingham, is seeking a driven Aftersales professional to lead their service and parts operations. This dealership needs a strong people leader who thrives in a main-dealer environment, inspires teams, elevates customer experience, and drives performance across the entire Aftersales function.
Salary: £50,000 basic, £70,000 OTE
Hours: Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS!

What you'll be doing (and doing brilliantly):
- Planning, controlling and monitoring all service department processes while developing the Aftersales team
- Coaching, mentoring and managing Service Advisors, Workshop Control and wider Aftersales staff
- Reviewing labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales and ensuring resources match workshop requirements
- Monitoring customer needs and competitor activity; leading targeted marketing and retention initiatives
- Overseeing accurate recording of daily operating controls, KPIs and departmental reporting
- Managing dealership assets including tools, equipment and workshop facilities
- Controlling expenses against agreed budgets and regularly reviewing management accounts
- Ensuring CSI excellence and embedding a customer-first culture
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience managing service and parts departments within a main dealer (essential)
- A solid, progressive motor trade career in Aftersales Management
- Strong leadership presence - able to motivate, influence and build a high-performing team
- Confident relationship builder at all customer and corporate levels
- Highly process-driven with deep understanding of KPIs and operational control
- Commercially aware with entrepreneurial flair to grow Aftersales revenue
- Proven track record delivering excellent CSI results
- Strong understanding of vehicle design, manufacturer standards and legislation
- Full UK Driving Licence
