Working Hours: Three-shift rotation: * Day Shift: 07:00 – 15:40 * Back Shift: 15:30 – 23:25 (Friday finishes at 23:00) * Night Shift: 23:15 – 07:10 (Sunday starts at 23:20) Benefits: This Maintenance Technician opportunity offers a total annual package of up to £52,877.61, including shift allowance, alongside the chance to work with a variety of manufacturing equipment and contribute to ongoing engineering improvements. Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing machinery to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency. Key responsibilities include: * Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, implementing effective repairs and resolving breakdowns. * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production equipment. * Installing, maintaining and refurbishing new and existing machinery. * Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and increased equipment reliability. * Working closely with production teams, external suppliers and other departments. * Managing maintenance records, spare parts, purchase orders and stock levels. * Supporting safe working practices, quality standards and cost reduction initiatives. Skills & Experience: To be successful as a Maintenance Technician, you should have: * Proven experience maintaining and repairing machinery within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to work independently. * Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to machinery breakdowns. * A proactive approach to continuous improvement, health and safety and equipment reliability. * Good communication skills and flexibility to work a rotating three-shift pattern.
