Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 (OTE £70,000)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern (9‑week rotation).

  • Day Shift: 07:00 - 15:30
  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
  • Late Shift: 13:30 - 22:00

There is also an on‑call requirement (1 in 9 rotation).

Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a high‑performing engineering services team within a technologically advanced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production equipment, ensuring operational reliability across the facility. The position involves both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance, supporting continuous production and driving equipment improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Performing repair, improvement, and planned maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective troubleshooting on manufacturing systems
  • Maintaining and repairing automated and PLC‑controlled machinery
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for plant and equipment
  • Supervising subcontractor activities when required
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Accurately logging maintenance activities and documentation
