Job Description:

This CNC Machinist role is a hands-on, shop-floor position focused on milling and turning. You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC machinery to produce precision components to engineering drawings and quality standards. The client is looking for a CNC Machinist who can start quickly and work confidently with minimal supervision. Machines on site include 3-axis and 4-axis milling machines (predominantly Doosan), a 9-axis twin-turret lidded gun drill with Siemens controls, and smaller CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. The role is based on a fixed day shift and suits someone practical, reliable, and comfortable in a busy machine shop environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
  • Strong background in CNC milling and turning
  • Confident with machine operation, setting, and tooling changes
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings
  • CNC programming experience is advantageous but not essential
