Location: North East

Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)

As a Production Scheduler, you’ll take full ownership of delivering accurate and achievable finite manufacturing schedules to ensure smooth production flow and maximum efficiency. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, this role requires a proactive individual who can balance short-term production demands with long-term planning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and monitor finite manufacturing schedules.
  • Act as the first line of scheduling support for production teams.
  • Review and provide capacity information to guide decisions.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of manufacturing operations to enhance scheduling accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to drive performance.
  • Provide cover and support to other areas of planning as required.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in finite manufacturing scheduling (essential).
  • Excellent IT skills, especially Excel.
  • SAP experience advantageous (training provided).
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
