As part of this quality transformation project, GT Emissions is investing in multiple Quality Engineers to support succession planning, strengthen capability and help shape the future direction of the department. Working closely with senior leadership and an experienced Quality team, the successful Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to influence change, support continuous improvement initiatives and play a key role in the next chapter of GT Emissions' journey.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday Dayshift

Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting customer, supplier and internal quality activities across the manufacturing operation. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting internal and external audits
  • Supporting customer and supplier PPAP activities
  • Leading 8D investigations and root cause analysis
  • Managing customer quality concerns and containment actions
  • Supporting quality planning and continuous improvement projects
  • Producing KPI reports and performance analysis
  • Supporting inspection, testing and validation activities
  • Working closely with production teams to improve quality performance
  • Driving improvements across processes, systems and standards
  • Supporting warranty investigations and customer-facing activities

The successful Quality Engineer will become a key member of a growing team and will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of quality within the business.

Skills & Experience

We are particularly interested in speaking with Quality Engineers who:

  • Have experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Understand PPAP, FMEA, 8D and IATF16949
  • Enjoy solving problems and driving improvements
  • Are comfortable working with customers, suppliers and production teams
  • Take ownership rather than passing problems on
  • Prefer a hands-on SME environment over a large corporate structure
  • Want to play a key role in strengthening and shaping a Quality function
  • Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-first mentality

Bonus experience includes:

  • CMM measurement or programming, IMDS, VDA auditing, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, Leadership or mentoring experience
