Job Description:

As a Project Engineer, you'll manage projects from initial customer enquiry through to successful delivery, becoming the main point of contact throughout the entire process. The Project Engineer will review technical drawings and specifications, prepare quotations, provide technical advice to customers and coordinate projects to ensure they progress smoothly through manufacturing and delivery. Working closely with customers and internal departments, you'll ensure projects remain on schedule while maintaining excellent communication throughout.

This Project Engineer position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving engineering problems, building customer relationships and taking ownership of multiple projects. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload while working as part of an experienced and supportive team. Whether your background is in project engineering, estimating, design or technical sales support, this Project Engineer opportunity offers the chance to broaden your responsibilities and develop your career within a specialist engineering environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within a Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Estimator, Applications Engineer or similar technical engineering role.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering or construction drawings.
  • Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations or costings.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Engineering or construction industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to solve technical problems independently.
  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an engineering discipline would be beneficial but is not essential.
