Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate / Junior Estimator to join a growing specialist manufacturer within the construction sector. Working alongside experienced estimators, you'll learn how to prepare quotations, interpret technical drawings, review specifications and support commercial decisions on a variety of exciting projects. This role offers far more than a traditional office-based position. You'll work closely with customers, internal departments and senior members of the business, developing both your technical and commercial skills while building a long-term career. Whether you're a recent graduate or someone with some industry experience looking to develop into estimating, this is an outstanding opportunity to receive first-class training and genuine career progression.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Construction, Building Services or a related discipline.
- OR some previous experience within construction, manufacturing or engineering looking to develop a career in estimating.
- AutoCAD experience or the ability to interpret technical drawings would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness or an interest in developing commercial skills.
