Job Description

As Production Engineer, you will work closely with engineering, production and maintenance teams to oversee manufacturing processes and engineering requirements at project level, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Production Engineer will take ownership of tooling and process controls, with a particular focus on improving OEE, quality, utilisation and effective production hours.

Key responsibilities will include

This Production Engineer opportunity would particularly suit someone who enjoys being hands-on within manufacturing and wants to see their engineering improvements directly impact production performance.

Skills & Experience

The successful Production Engineer will ideally have

  • Alternatively/relevantly, recognised engineering qualifications including ONC, City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC, Technical Diploma or NVQ Level 3.
  • Previous engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience or knowledge of CAD.
  • Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
