Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate / Junior Design Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products into the construction industry. As a Graduate / Junior Design Engineer, you'll receive full training while learning how to produce technical drawings, develop design solutions and support projects from enquiry through to manufacture. Working closely with experienced engineers, estimators and project teams, you'll learn to interpret customer drawings, use AutoCAD to create technical designs and develop practical engineering solutions. This Graduate / Junior Design Engineer position would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, has strong attention to detail and wants to build a successful career within engineering and design. The company is looking for someone with enthusiasm, energy and the willingness to learn. Your attitude and potential are far more important than previous industry experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree, Master's, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Experience using AutoCAD through university, college, placements or employment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
