Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production environment by supporting process improvements, maintaining standards, and assisting with equipment and workflow planning. The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with the industrial engineering team to help implement efficient production processes, monitor quality, maintain safety compliance, and support manufacturing equipment operations. This is a hands-on role based on the factory floor, with responsibilities spanning routine batch production, basic troubleshooting, reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

To succeed as a Manufacturing Technician, you should have:

  • A diploma or degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Bio-processing-related fields
  • 0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing (graduates welcome)
  • Understanding of cGMP principles and experience in clean-room operations preferred
  • Good knowledge of plant and unit operations (e.g., autoclave, parts washers, process equipment)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance checks, follow strict safety standards, and keep accurate records
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated, process-driven environment
  • Familiarity with systems such as Emerson DeltaV, LIMS, and TrackWise is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to complete LMS-based training
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and apply physical and biological principles
