Your main focus will be on delivering expert guidance, conducting investigations, and improving workplace safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing competent advice on all aspects of health and safety including CDM activities * Supporting the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses * Developing and reviewing risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and work instructions * Monitoring accident statistics, identifying trends, and producing reports * Liaising with internal departments, regulatory authorities, and external training providers * Organising and assisting with internal and external health and safety training * Conducting audits and inspections * Supporting ISO accreditation efforts and permit-to-work compliance * Providing guidance and mentoring to other team members and placement students * Contributing to health and safety committee meetings and departmental improvement initiatives Skills & experience: * NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (required) * NEBOSH Fire Certificate (preferred) * Working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification * Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organisational and time-management abilities * IT proficiency including Microsoft Office * Full UK driving license Why Should You Apply?
