The Company: Our client is an established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality and continuous improvement. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to add an experienced Quality Engineer to their team.
The Role: This position will involve supporting quality activities across manufacturing operations, ensuring products and processes meet required standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting internal audits and supplier quality activities
- Assisting with product quality planning and inspection processes
- Investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions
- Completing quality documentation and reports
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitoring KPIs and process performance
- Working closely with production, engineering and other internal departments
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a Quality Engineer role
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ideally IATF 16949
- Understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D and PPAP
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
