Working Hours:

8:00am - 4:50pm Monday - Thursday
8:00am - 12:15pm Friday - (36.75 hours per week)

Job Description:

The Production Engineer will be responsible for supporting CNC machining operations through programming, process development, and continuous improvement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming CNC machines from engineering drawings
  • Offline programming using CAD/CAM software
  • Implementing and improving production processes and procedures
  • Creating manufacturing routings and documentation
  • Selecting and ordering tooling
  • Supporting shop floor layout and manufacturing efficiency improvements
  • Assisting with continuous improvement and problem-solving activities

This Production Engineer position offers the opportunity to work closely with production teams to improve performance, quality, and efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Production Engineer role, you should have:

  • Strong CNC turning and milling experience using Fanuc
  • Previous experience in a Production Engineer or similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software
  • Knowledge of various CNC machine controls
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Apprentice trained engineer (advantageous)
