Job Description

As a Despatch Planner, you will coordinate the delivery of sawn timber products to customers across the UK. The role focuses on planning, customer service, and communication rather than hands-on transport. The Despatch Planner will review order books, monitor production schedules, plan loads, arrange internal and external transport, and liaise closely with customers, sales teams, and haulage partners to meet delivery expectations.

Skills & Experience

To succeed as a Despatch Planner, you will ideally have experience in despatch, transport, production, or supply chain planning. Strong Excel and Outlook skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication. GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent) are preferred.
