Job Description: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Planner to join a fast-paced Operations team within a complex manufacturing environment. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and coordinating detailed production schedules that ensure customer demand is delivered efficiently and on time. In this Production Planner role, you will convert customer orders, forecasts and engineering requirements into achievable manufacturing plans while balancing capacity, materials and operational priorities.

The Production Planner will work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project teams to ensure smooth workflow across multiple product lines. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data, monitoring material availability and ensuring production plans remain realistic, visible and achievable. You will support daily and weekly production reviews, providing clear updates on priorities, risks and progress, while escalating issues before they impact delivery. The Production Planner will also play a key role in identifying bottlenecks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy, efficiency and production flow.

Skills & Experience: In this role, the Production Planner should have experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, supply chain planning or materials control within an engineering, electronics or high-reliability environment. Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge and advanced Excel skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of production flow, capacity planning and WIP management.
