Day shift: Monday – Thursday: 08.00 – 16.30, Friday: 08.00 – 13.00, totaling 37 paid hours. 30 minute unpaid lunch break Monday – Thursday, no lunch break on Friday. Day shifts are expected to achieve a minimum of 11 hours overtime per week. Overtime is paid at T+1/3, Sundays T+1/2.

We are recruiting for a Manual Turner/Vertical Borer OR Manual Miller/Horizontal Borer to join a busy and well-established engineering team. The role will be responsible for setting and operating manual turning/vertical boring machines to produce high-quality components. Working from customer-issued drawings and specifications, you will manufacture medium to heavy workpieces to required tolerances. You will be expected to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship at all times. The role also requires carrying out self-inspection to ensure all finished parts meet quality standards.
Skills & Experience:- Experience working as a Manual Turner/Vertical Borer OR Manual Miller/Horizontal Borer or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience producing medium to heavy workpieces
- Ability to self-inspect work to a high standard
- Willingness to work overtime when required
