Day shift: Monday – Thursday: 08.00 – 16.30, Friday: 08.00 – 13.00, totaling 37 paid hours. 30 minute unpaid lunch break Monday – Thursday, no lunch break on Friday. Day shifts are expected to achieve a minimum of 11 hours overtime per week. Overtime is paid at T+1/3, Sundays T+1/2.

We are recruiting for a CNC Turner/Vertical Borer to join a busy and well-established engineering team. The CNC Turner/Vertical Borer will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC vertical boring/lathe machines using Fanuc control systems. Working from detailed customer drawings and specifications, you will produce high-quality medium to heavy workpieces to tight tolerances. The CNC Turner/Vertical Borer will also utilise CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion for programming tasks. This role requires a high level of independence, and the CNC Turner/Vertical Borer will be expected to carry out self-inspection to ensure all work meets strict quality standards.
Skills & Experience:- Experience working as a CNC Turner/Vertical Borer
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Experience with CNC vertical boring/lathe machines
- Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience producing medium to heavy workpieces
- Ability to self-inspect work and maintain high quality standards
- Willingness to work overtime when required
