Registered Manager – Residential Care and Supported Living
Are you an experienced Registered Care Manager with a passion for supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs? Are you looking for a role with autonomy, flexibility and a provider who’s just as passionate about high-quality care as you? If so, this could be the perfect Registered Manager role for you.
Having been operating for 24 years, my client is a very established private provider with a track record of delivering stable, safe services that give people the opportunity to thrive. They support 16 people across two sites, a care home and a supported living scheme, and you’ll oversee the care delivery and operations across both. Recently rated Good by CQC, they’re looking for someone who can build on the already great care and keep the service developing for the benefit of the people they support.
On offer is a salary of £48,000 - £52,000 for a 40-hour contract. The Registered Manager manages their own time, with flexibility around working hours.
The Registered Manager role
* As the Registered Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential care home for adults with autism and a supported living scheme (9 flats) for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.
* Ensure CQC and regulatory compliance is maintained, build on their current Good CQC rating and develop the service with a view to achieving Outstanding.
* Supervise the care teams, providing effective leadership and guidance to a team of loyal staff.
* Ensure people’s care plans are reviewed regularly and changes in needs are communicated.
* Have oversight of the staff rota.
* Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals.
What we’re looking for
For this post, we’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager / Supported Living Manager / Service Manager with a proven track record of delivering quality-focused, CQC-regulated care for people with learning disabilities and an understanding of supporting those with autism.
* Whether you’ve managed supported living services or residential care homes, it doesn’t really matter which, as long as you can demonstrate a good knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations.
