We're recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join a warm, experienced and locally led children's home team in Staffordshire.

The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be part of a close-knit team supporting children and young people aged 7 to 17 who may have experienced trauma, neglect or instability in their early lives.
Your role is to provide consistency, warmth and structure in daily life, acting as a positive adult presence and helping young people develop trust, confidence and independence.
This is not a 9-5 role and it's important that you are able to work long shifts, with sleep-in's in between. xgikmsk You'll be contracted to 173.3 hours per month and a typical shift pattern will be either 2 on 4 off, or 2 on 3 off with sleep-in's in between your day shifts.
- You'll support children and young people directly with their day-to-day lives, including:
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Creating a safe, calm and nurturing home environment
- Supporting education, routines and positive behaviours
