We are seeking a Digital Coordinator (Paid Media) with exceptional knowledge of the social media landscape and a proven track record of planning and implementing paid social media campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to support our talented in-house Digital team to drive incremental growth for Benefit on social media and continue to build an engaged community. Organisation and attention to detail must be second to none and will ensure flawless delivery of paid social campaigns. You will be results driven, analytical and an expert communicator. You will be responsible for executing our paid activity across social platforms. You will also support the wider team in both briefing and creating world-class social-first content that supports both paid and organic social.
The role involves supporting media strategy and budget management alongside Social Media and Community Manager, aligning with the wider marketing and global teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the wider team on content ideation.
- Owning paid campaign setup, audience targeting, performance tracking, and reporting (with support from the Digital Assistant and Digital Apprentice).
- Working closely with the Social Media and Community Manager in the development and execution of Benefit’s paid social media strategy.
- Supporting in planning campaign strategy and creating social content for all new product launches, brand campaigns and events, briefing in wider team members, ensuring pre-agreed timings are adhered to.
- Responsible for planning, managing, creating and publishing paid content consistent with Benefit Cosmetics’ social media strategy and objectives (TikTok and Meta as priority), with support from the wider team.
- Delivering the paid ad campaign calendar, building customer segmentation and targeting, ensuring agreed budgets are adhered to and that all campaigns launch on time.
- Reviewing performance looking for opportunities to optimise performance and actionable insights to further amplify brand paid presence.
- Responsible for measurement and analysis of paid social media performance against KPIs and reporting back to the business regularly.
- Working with data and reporting tools, continually monitor and review performance, leading completion of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Working in a strategic, 360 way with the wider Digital team to ensure all organic and paid social activity is cohesive and working to aligned goals/KPIs.
- Working closely with account managers at TikTok and Meta to secure new media opportunities and regularly update wider teams on the latest platform news.
- Working with PR team to ensure press and influencer content and deliverables are fully optimised, including identifying content for whitelisting.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all relevant business stakeholders, ensuring social media plans, activities and interests are communicated and championed as part of all commercial plans.
- Partnering closely with the Ecommerce team to ensure that content produced maximises ROAS across the brand Ecomm channels and that where possible, social channels work in parallel to support Ecommerce activity and strategy.
- Researching and integrating new tools into the monitoring process as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years’ experience in paid social media (brand or agency experience is advantageous).
- Experience in managing paid social campaigns from concept to end, Meta and TikTok is a necessity, with other channels desirable e.g. YouTube.
- A solid understanding of social media and content creation, with experience in video editing e.g. CapCut is desirable.
- Be passionate about social and have a creative flair.
- Previous experience creating social-first content (desirable).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
- Passionate about the customer and all elements of the customer experience.
- Confident, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
Please note that whilst this position will be based in our Covent Garden PR office, we do offer a flexible working policy which means that up to 60% of your hours will be based from the office and 40% of your hours can be based from home.
