About PAI

Since launching in 2007, Pai Skincare has empowered tens of thousands of people to achieve happier, healthier skin. Born from our founder Sarah Brown’s personal journey with hypersensitive skin, we’ve grown into a globally recognised, award-winning skincare brand. Our West London HQ is where the magic happens—where every bottle is formulated, manufactured, and shipped with care. We’re proud to be leaders in ethical, sustainable skincare, pushing the boundaries with natural, high-performance ingredients. Now, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us reach millions more around the world.

Why this role matters:

This newly created role at Pai follows a period of transition and aims to leverage and increase the brand’s global performance. As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our global marketing strategy, delivering a highly engaging plan across all channels. You will oversee all campaign activities across the Pai ecosystem, amplifying our core USPs and brand messages to drive awareness, engagement, and brand relevance. This role sits within the Pai Leadership Team (PLT) and will report directly to the new CEO, supporting them in executing the overall business strategy. You will work closely with the Commercial and DTC teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business objectives and that content is fit for each channel. With a global remit, experience in managing and executing global marketing strategies across diverse markets is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the creation and execution of the marketing strategy to drive global brand awareness, relevance, and community engagement.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee and deliver all marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and other relevant channels, ensuring cohesive and impactful brand messaging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial and DTC teams to align marketing activities with business objectives and optimise content for different channels.
  • Content Strategy: Ensure content is elevated, creative, and ROI-focused, highlighting Pai’s unique selling points and brand values.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure Pai’s core messaging is amplified consistently across all marketing channels.
  • Community Building: Foster a loyal community of Pai advocates and engage them meaningfully, focusing on customer lifetime value.
  • ROI-driven: Continuously optimize campaigns to ensure measurable ROI, aligning marketing outcomes with business goals.

What you’ll bring:

  • A Skilled Leader: You have significant experience leading marketing for rapidly growing brands, with a knack for both strategic oversight and hands-on support for teams.
  • Growth Hacker: You drive ROI on tight budgets, leveraging creative solutions like word-of-mouth, partnerships, and spiky content to grow awareness and reach.
  • Community-Oriented: You know how to grow and engage a community, focusing on customer lifetime value and building emotional connections with the audience.
  • Digital Asset Expert: You understand what makes digital assets best-in-class and know how to adapt content to suit different channels.
  • Collaborative and Influential: You work well with cross-functional teams, influencing outcomes and ensuring alignment between brand and commercial goals.
  • Premium Design Sensibility: You have an eye for premium design and know how to apply it within the skincare and luxury brand sectors.
  • Purpose-Driven Storyteller: You’ve worked with purpose-driven brands and can communicate complex messages effectively across brand and product levels.
  • Beauty Industry Experience: Experience within the beauty industry is highly desirable, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • Global Experience: You have experience managing and executing marketing strategies for a global brand, understanding the nuances of different markets and the importance of tailoring content to regional needs.
  • Leadership Team Member: You will be an integral member of the Pai leadership team, supporting the CEO and working collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals.
