The Role…
We’re on the hunt for a charismatic Brand Manager to lead marketing for two of our most exciting and iconic brands—Cowshed and Soho Skin.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes brand. Someone who can blend sharp commercial thinking with bold creative ideas. You’ll have the freedom to shape narratives, spark cultural conversation, build communities, and craft campaigns that cut through the noise.
It’s a mix of logic and magic. Numbers and nuance. Strategy and storytelling.
This is a rare, career-defining opportunity to help shape the next chapter of one of the UK’s most iconic beauty and wellness brands.
Cowshed is undergoing a once-in-a-generation reawakening. Born 28 years ago in the walled garden of Babington House, it’s one of Soho House’s most loved and storied creations. With decades of wellness expertise and cult spa credibility, it’s now poised for a bold and beautiful repositioning—and we want you right at the heart of it.
You’ll help steer this evolution from heritage spa to future-facing beauty brand, bringing creativity, cultural relevance and commercial acumen to every campaign, product, and brand moment. We’re looking for a standout Brand Manager to lead this on every level.
Role responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Management
- Lead Brand Storytelling & Expression – Own and evolve the brand voice, values, and visual identity for both Cowshed and Soho Skin. You’ll ensure everything we put out into the world feels consistent, magnetic, and true to who we are—from packaging to campaign copy to digital touchpoints.
- Product Assortment & Strategy – Shape and manage our product assortment across categories. You’ll help steer innovation, seasonal focuses, and retail partner exclusives to keep us commercially sharp and emotionally resonant.
- Pricing Management – Oversee local pricing strategy, aligning market positioning with profitability. You’ll ensure our pricing architecture makes sense commercially and elevates our place in the beauty landscape.
- Marketing & Campaign Execution – Own the brand marketing calendar: from major product drops to storytelling peaks and promotional moments. You’ll bring everything together across all consumer touchpoints—PR, social, retail, sampling—and support media planning across key partners.
- Performance Insight & Optimisation – Track and analyse brand and campaign performance. You’ll use data to guide better decisions, spark innovation, and refine what’s next.
Creative Campaigns & Launches
- Launch Beautiful Things, Brilliantly – Plan and execute bold, high-impact launches. Deliver brand-right, retailer-exciting, customer-obsessed toolkits and creative assets that land with energy across all platforms.
- 360° Campaign Strategy – Lead the full lifecycle of our creative campaigns—from concept to execution, briefing to reporting. You’ll work hand-in-hand with internal teams and agency partners to make our ideas real.
- Partnership & Collaboration Management – Take the reins on brand partnerships from concept to delivery. We’ve got some incredible collaborations in the works, and you’ll lead them end-to-end—ensuring they elevate the brand, excite our audience, and deliver commercial and creative impact.
Community & Cultural Engagement
- Fuel Cultural Connection & Brand Buzz – Partner with social, PR and influencer teams to generate meaningful moments. You’ll create the kind of cultural relevance and community love that can’t be faked.
- Stay Curious, Stay Current – You’ll have your finger on the pulse of beauty, culture and consumer behaviour—bringing in insights that keep us ahead of the curve and full of ideas.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Team Management & Coaching – Lead and develop the Assistant Brand Manager. You’ll be a hands-on mentor, a clear communicator and a motivating force for growth.
- Internal Influence & Alignment – Work cross-functionally across Creative, Product, Commercial, Digital, E-comm, Ops and SLT. You’ll be the glue, making sure the brand vision shows up clearly and cohesively across every channel.
Role requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in brand or marketing within beauty, skincare, wellness or lifestyle
- A balance of creativity and commerciality—you’re equally comfortable brainstorming campaign hooks and building a retail sales story
- Proven experience in social media and influencer marketing, with the ability to co-manage campaigns alongside an external agency.
- Experience delivering multi-channel brand campaigns that have real cultural or community impact
- Track record of working with retail partners and internal commercial teams to land successful, brand-right activations
- Strong collaboration skills—able to lead agencies, brief designers, align stakeholders and inspire teams
- Proven ability to manage, coach and develop team members
- Ambition, energy and the ability to run with things (and not wait for permission)
Our amazing team is made up of individuals from all corners of the globe, ethnicities, genders and beliefs and we are committed to providing a positive workplace where everyone feels empowered to bring their whole self to work.
