Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely. We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

We're seeking a Product Design Manager to lead design across our Enterprise segment. This is a rare opportunity to shape the design direction of a category-defining product at the forefront of AI and legal technology. Our Enterprise offerings cover Vincent, Clio's AI-powered legal intelligence platform, and Operate, our enterprise-grade practice and matter management platform. This role is based in the UK. If you are local to one of our hubs (Manchester, London, or Dublin) you will be expected to be in office minimum two days per week for our Anchor Days.

As part of Clio's Enterprise division, this role sits at the heart of our most ambitious growth story. Clio Operate and Vincent together form a category-defining product suite that is enabling untethered growth for legal clients worldwide. Operate grew revenue by ~100% in 2025, and Vincent is accelerating fast. This is a player-coach role. You'll lead a talented team of product designers based in London, working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver intelligent, human-centered experiences that meet the sophisticated needs of enterprise legal professionals. You’ll also roll up your sleeves and dive into design yourself, as part of a broader entrepreneurial cross-functional team. As part of the design management team, you'll be a key player in advancing design maturity across Vincent as the product scales globally.

What you'll work on:

  • Define and drive the experience strategy for Vincent, ensuring design decisions reflect the complex workflows and high standards of enterprise legal users.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, autonomy, collaboration, and continuous growth.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to shape the product roadmap and deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences.
  • Champion user-centered design by embedding research and data-informed practices into the product development process.
  • Communicate design rationale, insights, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Leverage AI capabilities thoughtfully to create intelligent, adaptive experiences that serve enterprise legal professionals.
  • Hire and develop exceptional design talent through feedback, coaching, and performance development.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet delivery goals and drive long-term strategic impact.

What you may have:

  • 7+ years of product design experience, including SaaS or complex platform environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing product design teams.
  • A proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-centered products at scale.
  • Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, and systems thinking.
  • Experience designing for enterprise users with complex, high-stakes workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect design strategy to business and customer outcomes.
  • A coaching mindset, able to build trust, grow talent, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • A growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.

Serious bonus points if you:

  • Experience designing AI-driven or data-intensive products.
  • Familiarity with legal, enterprise, or regulated industry products.
  • Experience contributing to or evolving platform-level design systems in multi-product environments.

What you will find here:

  • Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. We have developed a series of programs and processes to ensure we are creating fair and competitive pay practices that form the foundation of our human and high-performing culture.
  • Some highlights of our Total Rewards program include:
