We are currently seeking a Senior FullâStack Software Engineer to join the Sharedo engineering team in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, UK.
The Sharedo team builds and maintains an innovative work and case management platform used across the legal, energy, telecoms, and property management sectors. The work ranges from largeâscale data management to realâtime business workflows, and thrives on collaboration and continuous learning.

What you\âll work on
Developing fullâstack features using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
Writing and optimizing handâcrafted SQL queries to ensure high performance.
Designing and implementing eventâdriven workflows using Event Store.
Enhancing search and data projections with ElasticSearch.
Modernising components of the platform to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js, including containerised deployments.
Automating infrastructure with Pulumi and Azure DevOps.
Participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, and maintaining engineering best practices.
What you may have
Strong experience with C#/.NET, including async/await, memory management, and resource handling.
Deep knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimisation, indexing, execution plans, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
5+ years of varied software engineering experience, ideally including scalable systems.
Experience with distributed systems, monoliths, or microâservices.
Demonstrated interest in improving your craft by using AI.
Serious bonus points if you have
Exposure to ElasticSearch, Event Store, Neo4j, InfluxDB, Seq, Power BI.
Experience with microâORMs such as PetaPoco.
Contributions to openâsource projects or personal coding projects.
Cloud infrastructure experience, especially Azure.
Strong grasp of clean code principles, OOP design, and software patterns.
