The Role Due to continued success, Themis Recruit are currently recruiting a Solicitor (NQ – 2 years PQE) to join their Court of Protection team . Working closely with the Partner and Head of Department, you will be instrumental in developing our Court of Protection services. This role is perfect for someone passionate about working with brain-injured and vulnerable clients , handling Deputyships, Personal Injury Trusts, and Statutory Wills. This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements, with occasional attendance required at our Greater Manchester office for client meetings, training, or inductions. Key Responsibilities Assist with the management of Property and Affairs Deputyships . Liaise with brain-injured and vulnerable clients, families, and external professionals. Provide legal advice in line with the Mental Capacity Act and related legislation. Assist with tax affairs, trust management, and statutory applications . Support the Partner in litigation-focused Deputyships, with scope to manage your own caseload as it grows. Supervise and delegate tasks to junior staff where appropriate. Provide excellent, empathetic client service at all times. Travel for client visits in hospitals, homes, or care settings as required. Requirements Good working knowledge of the Court of Protection. Understanding of claimant-side serious injury context. Excellent client communication and care skills. Comfortable using legal case management systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to work within legal limits of competence. Flexible and proactive approach to work and client needs. Qualifications Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ – 2 years PQE). Full UK driving licence and own car. Hybrid Working: Flexibility to work from home and the office. Challenging
