Themis Recruit are seeking a skilled Employment Solicitor (2 to 8 PQE) to join our clients prestigious team, recognised by the Legal 500. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career within our dynamic Employment Department, where we handle a diverse range of cases for both employers and employees.
Requirements- Provide expert legal advice to employers and employees on various employment law matters.
- Manage Employment Tribunal claims, including issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination (sex, race, disability), and other related matters.
- Advise on TUPE, redundancy, and transfers of undertakings.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements for both employers and employees.
- Counsel on restrictive covenants, breaches of confidentiality, and other workplace disputes.
- Draft and review employment contracts and staff handbooks.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Prepare court submissions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel and parties to reach favourable resolutions.
- Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues to develop strategies for achieving client objectives.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and support the firm’s growth.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- 2 to 8 years PQE in Employment Law.
- Solid experience in managing employment tribunal claims and complex cases.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
