Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic and expanding team in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a busy and diverse caseload, with exposure to both residential and commercial conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be supported by secretarial assistance and will work in a collaborative and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- Title checking, search reports, and enquiries
- Stamp Duty procedures
- Handle leasehold transactions including:
- Lease renewals
- Deeds of surrender
- Grant of new leases
- Regulation of landlord and tenant relationships
- Deal with commercial property transactions such as:
- Business acquisitions and disposals
- Utilities agreements
- Refinancing
- Take responsibility for files from instruction to completion
- Engage actively in business development and client relationship management
Requirements
- Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with a good working knowledge of commercial property work
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
