Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Construction Associate to join their market-leading Construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, non-contentious matters for household-name clients across a diverse range of sectors. Based in one of their regional offices (Birmingham, Manchester, or Leeds), you\’ll be part of a national team delivering strategic legal advice on major construction and infrastructure projects.
The Role
In this role, you will:
Advise on non-contentious construction matters including development and infrastructure projects, corporate acquisitions and disposals, real estate finance, and process plant contracts.
Draft, review, and negotiate standard form and bespoke construction documents (including JCT and NEC contracts, development agreements, and process plant documentation).
Work primarily with employers and developers, while bringing value from any experience on the contractor or supply side.
Collaborate closely with partners and senior team members, many of whom bring valuable in-house industry experience.
Have the opportunity to contribute to mentoring junior team members as part of a supportive and high-performing team.
Support clients from project inception through to completion, with the flexibility to be involved in both non-contentious and contentious matters if desired.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially astute junior solicitor (NQ – 2 PQE) with:
A solid grounding in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained from a leading firm or in-house legal team.
Demonstrable experience with JCT, NEC, and other standard form contracts.
A collaborative, client-focused approach and a genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sector.
An interest in mentoring and contributing to the development of others in the team is welcomed but not essential.
