This is a remote position. Our client, a leading claimant law firm, are seeking experienced individuals to join their esteemed serious injury department due to continued growth. As an investors in People platinum accredited firm, our client is committed to high performance, emphasising trust, respect, openness and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Handling a caseload of claimant Serious Injury claims, predominately RTA-based, with values ranging from £150K to over £10m.
- Delivering excellent client care to those who have experienced traumatic and life-changing events.
- Supporting Senior lawyers with leadership and motivation of the team.
- Conducting regular technical and case reviews, providing feedback and mentoring.
- Communicating with clients and meetings with a multi-disciplinary team of experts.
- Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation, and quantum.
- Drafting documents, including statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.
- Optimising client settlements.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx.
- Proven experience dealing with serious injury claims.
- Committed to delivering excellent client care.
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and objection handling.
- Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment with high work quality standards.
- Competent with case management systems, and a good knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail.
