Our Client is looking for a talented and motivated Real Estate Finance Associate to join their dynamic and market-leading team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of real estate finance, advising on high-profile, complex transactions across all real estate asset classes and working with some of the most prestigious clients in the sector.

As part of their Finance and Projects Group , you’ll work with a supportive and highly collaborative team, benefit from strong partner access, and gain exposure to a diverse range of real estate finance matters including development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance, and mezzanine finance .

The Team

Our clients Real Estate Finance team is one of the leading practices in the UK, advising a broad range of clients including:

Major UK and international banks

Debt funds and insurers

Institutional lenders

Investors, developers, and blue-chip property companies

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate in the Real Estate Finance team, your role will include:

Advising on the finance aspects of real estate transactions, including both lender-side and borrower-side mandates.

Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related finance documents.

Managing transactions from start to finish, including liaising with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.

Supporting partners and contributing to the development of junior team members.

Participating in business development initiatives and client relationship management.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with the following:

2–4 years’ PQE with relevant experience gained from a leading law firm.

Strong academic background and excellent technical understanding of finance transactions.

Experience advising on real estate finance deals , with exposure to a range of structures and asset types.

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.

A commercial, client-focused approach and sound judgement.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
