Themis Crown Advocates and Purposeful Peak Performance LLP are seeking a PR (Public Relations) Intern to support communications and media engagement activities. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career candidate interested in gaining practical experience in media relations, public affairs, and communications within purpose-led professional services organisations. The intern will work with supervision on defined PR and communications tasks and contribute to ongoing media and public engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and briefing notes
- Conduct media monitoring and summarise relevant coverage
- Maintain media contact lists and outreach records
- Support coordination of PR activity related to events and announcements
- Assist with website and LinkedIn content preparation
- Support preparation of media packs and communications materials
- Contribute to market research activities
- Assist with drafting blogs and newsletters
Candidate Profile
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Hold, or are completing, a degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Can commit approximately 15 hours per week for 6 months
- Have a portfolio of relevant work (e.g., social media channels, blogs, newsletters, campaigns)
- Have experience or academic exposure to market research, blog writing, or newsletter drafting
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills
- Are organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Have a genuine interest in public relations and communications
