The Role
We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor Fee Earner to join our growing team on a remote basis. In this role, you will manage your own caseload while providing high‑quality legal advice and representation across family law matters, with exposure to commercial litigation, property matters, and regulatory compliance where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Advising clients with professionalism and empathy
- Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and external stakeholders
- Attending virtual hearings, meetings, and mediations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful outcomes
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining excellent client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Strong skills in legal drafting, contract law, and case management
- Proven experience in family law, with knowledge of civil litigation, regulatory compliance, and property law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client‑centric mindset
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working remotely and using legal tech platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (or equivalent)
- Valid practising certificate
- Minimum 3 years’ post‑qualification experience (PQE) as a solicitor, ideally within one or more of our practice areas
