Required September 2026. TMWS is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team to join our successful department at a welcoming and inclusive rural secondary school.

We are a small, inclusive school with a positive learning environment and excellent relationships between staff and students. Our most recent inspection judged the school to be good in all areas, reflecting our high standards and commitment to continuous improvement.
Due to our expanding Enhanced Resource Provision for students on the autistic spectrum, we require a Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs. Experience of working with students with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and/or physical disabilities is preferred, however TMWS would consider an apprenticeship for any candidates without qualifications who have an enthusiasm to support young people and undertake any necessary training.
As a school with many students with additional needs, we can offer opportunities for CPD and career progression at all levels within our dedicated team of teaching assistants.
