You could also combine the two by having weekly online tuition, with monthly face to face classes to consolidate your learning.
These are one-to-one and small group pattern cutting classes for beginners and intermediates. Designed for fashion students, beginners and home dressmakers to acquire a basic understanding of pattern cutting, pattern manipulation, and block creation.
There is no set format and no formal course. Your tutor is free to design a course around your individual requirements. Or to teach whatever is most relevant and interesting for the individual student.
Our weekend pattern cutting classes are for anyone wanting to learn the basics of pattern cutting. Some are fashion students who want to add to their existing knowledge.
Some are home dressmakers who would like to adapt or grade their shop bought commercial patterns. Some would like to copy a favourite garment. Some would like to make their own pattern blocks.
All pattern cutting classes are tailored to the clients own requirements. This means that your tutor can devote more attention to the individual students.
Paired Tuition.
Paired tuition involves pairing two students of the same level together, leading to a significant reduction in price, while not effecting the quality of instruction. This works best when the paired students apply to take part in the classes together.
